I'm not sure but there's no harm to keep in touch with your local MP, atleast you can get an idea where's file actually and on which stage or even you can order GCMS notes. But IMHO you should contact MP.

You already got your meds done, thats good! congrats! PPR should be there soon then. I still have no update since the last one. Extremely frustrated! I read you had to resubmit some test results... was that ielts? I submitted them along with the initial application, is it necessary to resubmit it? This has become the worst wait ever.

Yep, I reached to medicals but after that they required additional medical test, which I did submitted, but stuck thereafter. The additional test was for medicals. I hope PPR to come soon. Best wishes for you too. Keep in touch!

Hi!

I applied under strategic recrutiment category to reduce the FSW backlog for MPNP program at Nova Scotia and my file transferred to CPP-Ottawa Office.

My ecase status was "we received your application on xx-xx-xxxx, and now one more line is added "Medicals have been received"

Usually how much time it takes to get PPR after medicals have been recieved, and my case is still in process or some decision is made.

Nothing else, it is showing same from may 2012, when got some requiremt then after before ending of may i send everything to them, whatever they asked, and my process still on hold.

Got a call yesterday from my MP too, he said he contacted the CIC and they said my file was not assigned to an officier yet.
i got my CSQ in april 2011, did the medical on december 2011, but i got married and i added my wife to the procedure, she got her CSQ in less than 2 months and now since May we are waiting for her medical invit. ???

Just now I spoke to my MP's office and they say the same. my application is not assigned to any officer yet and file is transferred on July to Ottawa. I can expect a reply from them by July 2013.

I just have to stop expecting any mails or news from CIC.

That is true. I think even CIC is giving standard answer to MP's too... there might be a lot of mails from MP office so they just giving a standard reply.

if their estimate only is July 2013...you can add 3 to 6 more months on top of it.

Is there a separate team looking after CEC application?

I am going to apply for CEC, but if the application is going in to the same Q or same office of FSW , then i would better not waste money & time.

Please advice, can i apply under CEC??

I am not sure if there are different teams to look. if it is going to Ottawa it is the same team does all work.
But as per my understanding PNP are taken in priority basis. and if you are in priority list of occupation then they might consider your application to process.
earlier it shown that CEC was processed with in a less than year of time. now we have no data to estimate Ottawa's performance....

if I get some good info on this. I am also considering to apply under CEC like you.

Hello All,

My ecas status shows application received on July,2011 under FSW. I live in New Jersey, USA and I got my file no generated in Octoberr,2011 ( email from CIO Nova scotia ) and email says my application will be sent to respective consulate which I suppose would be buffalo, Since than my file status shows in process. All documents along with IELTS score has been sent with original Documents.

How would I can find out that my application has been transferred to CPP-Ottawa or New York Consulate. What will be the time line to get even Med request from them. I am desperate to move to canada since i am struggling in US economy. I emailed to both CPP-ottawa and New York about like 2 months ago. I have not got any reply from them.
