Not so much confused now Jayson!!! .....Do you know how much time NDVO takes after asking for passports now r days!!! i booked my travel tickets to India for Jan end & now go passport request with NDVO along with medicals... i will be sending my passports with frd next month mid....but not sure will i get my passport back by Jan end or not???

No, no calls. But i was thinking of calling them after a week and before doing that checked ECAS and it said medical results have been received so...

Now I am worried what they may be wanting from me, since we have the same timeline :'(

With passport I have been asked to submit two photographs (25mm X 30 mm) which bear the date the photo was taken directly on the back of one photo.

Now my question is "Should the date be handwritten or printed by the photographer? ".

Hello my friend wucike. I'm always here, well lately, and read all the posts. You are IP now! ;D

Congrats my friend. As for me, nothing, just three lines. But I noticed you submitted your docs 12 days before me. May I ask, what country are you from?

In any case, as com2canada said, each case is different. Experience has shown, I am always the last with this process. Let's just hope there is a happy ending.

I called Dr. John....lady on phone told me that it can take 2/3 weeks to get blood & X ray reports. So i think i should go for other one!!!

Goto Dr john in Etobicoke, we went to his office and CIC received the results within a week

So i landed this weekend ...Ecas updated to "complete" ....i went around 4 am Saturday ..the process was not long at all .there were no line ups ..however they did ask me proof of funds... also just take Letter of employment just in case ...

This forum was great help and very informative. For all the people who still waiting, just hang in there and stay patient. It will happen in God's perfect timing. For people who have been waiting for more then 5 weeks for their passport to be returned, i got my passport after two months. So don't be discouraged, i would however advise to keep following up with them every 3 weeks or so if you don't get a reply.

Hi All,

Good news, my wife have received her request from CIC to submit her passport.
We just got married, we have updated CIC by email (email and scan of my passport).

Does she need to add me to the bio data sheet?? I am a Canadian, is the updating CIC by email good enough?

She plan to only mail her Passport and apply under herself. we are just informing CIC she is married to me.

Will this slow her PR application?

Any suggestion or feedback will be great.

If NDVO is your visa office, you will get more information by consulting those on that thread.
