Rather than hoping we are going to hear something everyday and checking emails every now and then and getting disappointed - it just makes one person more depressed! Just be happy and something will come about real soon!

Hi my name is Harmanjeet singh Tivana and I had applied for permanent residency under provincial nominee program in January 2011 from Saskatchewan. I got medical request in July 2011 and my medical was completed on August 18 2011. Doctor found some red blood cells in my urine so he did some further tests and send my medical two months later in October 2011. After that I didn't heard anything from immigration. I applied in Buffalo and they are closed and they send me email that my file has been transfer to Ottawa. I have exceeded my 14 months time period of my application, please help me i'm really depressed and lost. I don't know what to do as they are not replying my message.

I REALLY APPRECIATE IF SOMEBODY GUIDE ME IN MY CASE.

My husband was in a similar situation. He was infected with Hep B and recovered long long long time ago, but they requested a 2nd medical exam for him. After the 2nd medical exam, there was no update at all for the following months. We were worried and didnt know what to do. So, we applied the GCMS　notes and found out he passed the medical exam. If you dont get any further medical exam request from them, then it is a good sign.

I think most of the November files got transferred around March or April. I sent an email to Buffalo in early April and was informed that my file was transferred to Ottawa. And a month later I got AOR.

Hey im in same position as you. ottowa recieved my meds april 30and im waiting formyppr.

July 2011 applicant got PPR.. there is no order people are getting PPR. From January to July we cant tell which month's files are they processing?

Sometime in September.. Whats your timeline? If you are a 2012 applicant you have a good chance of hearing something soon.

I have also a query. Once the medical results have been received and updated in the ecas, does it mean one has passed the medical tests? Also if one has problems, when should he expect for additional tests? I am inquiring on behalf of a friend of mine. His time line is very much similar to mine. He did his medicals on June 10, 2012.

yes it appears only when Medicals has passed written against it in GCMS notes.

I got my Passport Request today, asking me to send our passports to Detroit.

Here's my timeline if you are interested:

CSQ Issued: May 2011
Application sent to Federal: September 2011
Medicals done: Feb 2012
PPR: September 2012

ECAS:
- We received your application on Sep 10, 2011.
- We started processing your application on May 2, 2012
- Medicals results received.

ECAS has been showing this since May, my address was shown since July I guess. It's still the same.

I sent them an email two weeks ago (for the first time) asking about the status of my application, got a generic reply in a week, maybe that triggered something, I don't know!

You'll get it sooner or later, just don't think about it too much and try not to schedule your life based on it if possible

Does that mean they have not even started working on my application?

Forget about ECAS, it's totally unreliable IMHO. Just email them if you didn't hear from them by January or something
