i am quite certain its all about nationality....even if your checks are done they keep on holding certain nationalites as if they wamt to fill the quota with other nationalities first...not an expert but sharing what i have noticed so far on forum and word of mouth...

Re: CSQ and Status changed again you have no other option but to notify them of your separation. basically you need to show them the divorce document and then they will be fine. I think they will give you back your original CSQ. just explain them what happened. shouldnt be difficult

yep I think most are stuck with background checks.....no one can tell what goes on with Security checks but Criminality you can find from GCMS notes when it finished. Mostly depends upon nationality how thorough the checks will be. again few exceptions here and there.
