I know a person just got ppr from NYVO in July. He submitted his medicals in the mid of May.

I don't know its depends on luck or what... some people are getting PPRs right after medical in less than a month... I have been waiting for 4+ months..

Can you send Caips? I dont know how to send it but i saw some ppl in this forum did. Looks like they have to reply to Caips.

Caips is an extract of audit log of PR process... which you can order from CIC, but its a 1.5 to 2 months process, I am also planning to order....

Did NYVO requested FBI certificate also from you along with Medicals? Can you please post your timelines...

I submitted my IELTS with FBI report before medical.

App. Filed.......: 04-2010
File Transfer...: 12-2011
Med's Request: 04-2012
Med's Done....: 05-2012
PPR........: waiting

This wait sucks... 7 months after medical still waiting for PPR...
submitted FBI reports also 50 days back... hear nothing after that so far....

Anyone else from NY consulate who is waiting or PPR for long ?

I eventually got PPR..
I have a question from experiences folks who got PR already...
should I send only the currently valid passport or old cancelled passports as well..?

and my kids passport is only valid for 9 months, and PPR letter says that passport must be valid for 1 year. should I get it renewed or send it as it is?

Finally we Landed
the plan was to spend the night at Lethbridge but couldn't wait so Drove down to Coutts Ab
process was easy and fast maybe cause of the time 2030
the immigration Officers on the Us side were like they always are ....
then we were escorted to the Canadian side where we got a Sweet nice canadian officer that acted like they are happy to welcome us

this will be my last post on this forum I wish all the Backlog cases get solved soon
