Refer above mentioned quote x In which you have explained that your file has gone through criminality
checks and had been send for cross check but one thing which has surprised me, i.e. once the CSIS
report has reached regarding the criminality checks and it is positive than again it has been sent to
staff for cross checking x

Questions arise in my mind are as under:

1- Has it been sent to staff (IO) for cross checking at Canadian embassy where the file is being processed
or it has been again sent to CSIS for cross checking x


2- or the file has been reviewed by the officer and than the officer referred it to the other staff who
initialled SSD on 14/05/2011 x

3- Scenario -------

" Suppose the CSIS has sent the report " Yes " and officer has reviewed it and he is not satisfied x "

I am concerned suppose if the report is Ok than why he has sent it to the other staff for cross
checking if CSIS has sent "Yes" report than i think he should not have been referred to the other
staff for cross checking x very ambiguous situation , please help me to understand it x

After sending updated forms and latest photographs in July 2011 , I recently received a reply from Visa office London in response to my query that
" YOUR APPLICATION IS AWAITING, FOR THE RESULT OF BACKGROUND CHECK"

Could you please give view on the current stage of my application processing.
Is there any hurdle in the processing my application ?
and how much time will they take from now to complete the process my application?

I have received Med. request,RPRF along with with PCC for 4 different country with a deadline of 45 days

I have applied via nearest embassies for PCC and three responded normally with long processing time and one is not responding at all. With this time deadline it is not possible to travel and collect pcc for me

Now my biggest worry if I'm not able to get the pcc from any particular country what will be consequences?

Please advice

Im my caipsnotes I was SELDEC 04 in July 2011
Still waiting for MR
email from VO in Aug "Background checks are on"

is this suppose to be criminal checks? or document checks?
If document checks then how come after SELDEC 04?
I thought positive SELDEC was made after the documentation checks
when do you think I will get my MR, my BFD is in November 2011

I got an email from CHC "Your application has been reviewed by an officer and is pending the final decision. You will be notified once all steps are complete"

Plz can u assist me what does this mean and how long it will take to make final decicion by officer.....

I am facing a strange situation, In my passport there is no surname but in COPR and in Visa they had put up my name in place of Surname . Kindly guide me what should I do , can I fly on this or have to contact CHC for rectification.
