Dear Qorax and Members,

I recently had an interview with CHC..
After my interview the immigration officer told me that he was approving my application and the only thing left is my security clearence after which I will receive a passport request from CHC Lodnon.. I was wondering how long does it usually take to perform security clearence since my medicals will be expiring in the first week of feb 2012, which I mentioned infront of immigration officer aswell. Upon which He told me that when an individual's medicals are expiring they try their best to complete case before the expiration of medicals...
Also how strong is my case now since immigration officer has approverd it finally...

PER : Positive Eligibility Review.
COPR : Confirmation of Permanent Resident (the PR visa that is placed in your passport)

use Search option of this forum, you will get all full form and meaning of those process.

Congrats for the seccessful interview and can you plz tell us what questions did the Immigration officer asked in the interview.

pcc , from, uk, and pakistan, from canada high commission london , its been nearly 6 monthes now,
and i applied my caips, it says something that could,nt understand , like

I got an email from CHC "Your application has been reviewed by an officer and is pending the final decision. You will be notified once all steps are complete"

Plz can u assist me what does this mean and how long it will take to make final decicion by officer.....

Dear All,
My friend has some question about FSW1.
She applied for 1122 for July 2011 ~ June 2012 .... MI3
She got PER ... now she is having problem with her job she don't want to continue with this job and in fact she want layoff for some time coz she want to give time to her child who is only 1.5 year old please suggest her if there is any problem or is it ok.

We received your application for permanent residence on April 16, 2010.


We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 7, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.


Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.


We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on July 14, 2010. The New Delhi office may contact you.

I got NER and apply for CAIPS. However, CIC send bellow information:

1. My question is what does it means in CAIPS?

2. Can I apply again same NOC (my employee forgot to mention all duties I perform, thus I want to collect a more detail experience certificate and wish to apply?)

other things which documents I should notarized. I go through Documents check list (IMM5612E) but got no information regarding notarized documents.
And should I staple Barcode pages with Generic Application forms(to keeping it on top of Generic application forms) .
