If you are very confused between Australia and Canada then the best choice for you is INDIA.

I prefer Australia. There are lots of indians in Australia.

Dear All,

I have this thought in my mind since quite some time.
We recently got our Australian PR visa from London, Also I am planning to apply for Canadian Visa( Under NOC 0213) next year.
I feel , It would be wonderful to debate/ get information on which country( Australia OR Canada) to immigrate and eventually settle down in all aspects like Employment,Education, cost of living, weather Etc.This may help us to decide on which country to settle down, though its a personal choice. I can co-relate all the facts( Do N don'ts) and finally decide with a country. :)

Indeed, both the countries are different/similar and wonderful in their own ways. One of the similarities being both the countries has a City named "Sydney".I was confused in the begining when members here told me to send the initial doc to " Sydney".. :D..Jokes apart , lets us know the positives and negatives of each country. :)Thanks you all..

Have a nice day!!

Sweetberry.

If you want to be with Indians, why don't you stay in India?

I also feels that Canada is a better place to live than Australia. There are lots of racisim in Australia. I have been living in Canada for like three years nows. People here are very generous and the society is very open minded.

I guess it's not the question of settling in which country, but more of personal choice.

1.I am an Indian living in the UK. When I had the choice to goto Australia, I refused it flat out. I think because I like cold weather, I like European Lifestyle and more than that I like the system here.

The reasons I plan to goto Canada are:

A. Better Immigration Control.
B. 2nd Largest Country in the World with very low population Count.
C. Rich Resouces of Gas, Water and Wood. (Very Important in the Future)
D. Developing and having a good Civic System in Place.
E. Weather (Cold but hey! GLobal Warming Remember).
F. Everybody is an Immigrant there, so better tolerance towards each other.
G. Very MultiCultural which is much needed now across the globe.
H. Scope for Growth.
I. A just Tolerant Society.
K. I am doing it for my children, so they can have a better future.
In the End I would say, It's us the people who make nations, and its us to decide how we would like to present our society to the world. Comparing two nations which are totally at different ends of this planet may not be justified.
All the Best to you inyour Application to Canada.
