AUG/27/2014 was delivered to CIC (Signature confirmed)

If my app had nothing wrong so usually how long does it take to receive acknowledment letter mail from CIC?

I've noticed by looking other's timeline usually it takes 2 to 3 months to received the AOR so lets look forward for October ;D

After your application is received by CIC, from 4-6 weeks later, keep checking your mail box for returned application. Then 6-8 weeks later from received date, if your application is not being returned, your ecas will be activated.

Will check my mail box as suggested then. Hopefully no returned app coz I already planned a month Europe backpack vacation in June 2015 and might need Canadian passport to avoid applying EU visas. Lol so wishful within 10 months ha ha may be just in my dream to get Canadian passport beyond this timeline.

10 months is possible now, if you don't get RQ (Ridiculous Queue). I see you are from SE Asia (but not PH), same here. What is your office? Mine, Vancouver. Have been here since 2008, applied in early May, being returned, sent again by late June (received early July), Ecas now on. Start processing on 22nd August.
