congrats! mine is dated 15 dec too. but my aunt (in BC) received it on the 23rd. where's your location?

hi apache, looks like we are exactly on the same pile! my visa office is london but i live in abu dhabi. the letter just got here today. so have you done your medicals already?

yup! i will have my med tom. but my family (in the phils) have theirs already last Jan8. mine is delayed coz my referral took a very long route! london-bc-manila-riyadh. bcoz we put our aunt who lives in bc as authorized rep, so all correspondences will hve to come to her ;D anyway, my med result may arrive sooner in london thn my fam's (its 3weeks waiting time in manila for the result!) i dnt know what's taking them too long. in riyadh, i think the results are ready in 4-5 days only

so are you planning a winter landing? i have been thinking about when to land when i got my medicals request. if i remember correctly, after your passports have been stamped, you have one year from the date of medicals to complete your landing process. i am hoping that the process will be fast enough for my family to go to canada during the summer of this year. let's keep each other posted

i was thinking the same. if its possible, i don't want to land in winter. i hve experienced winter in riyadh, but they they its worse in bc. so God willing, probably aug at the latest ;D insha allah . . . that's correct, one year after the first med. so if all goes well, visa n meds will be valid till jan7, 2011. soooo cold in there

toronto i think. we have family coming over from the states to welcome us. or maybe vancouver. we haven't made up our minds yet. but we're just staying there for a few weeks then we're flying back to abu dhabi.

just goin to wait for the pr card then come back to abu dhabi? for me, im not so sure. my plan before was to stay only for a month, hve a pr card, then back to riyadh for a year more, to make it 10. but if things are not as i would have like here, might as well not come back anymore at least there's an option

uhhh.. uhh.. haven't reached yet that stage ;D will think of it when we have our visas na cguro. but i checkd, and i found out mas mura PAL ksa cathay. but tht's internet rate. iba syempre if its thru travel agents. i hve a cousin workin in one, so might be able to squeeze a little discount (hopefully) ;D

some of my friends applied in April 2009 and they got medical.&PP request. i do not understand what has happened to my case, even though i was in queue much before them

hi, yeah we finished with our meds just yesterday and the clinic said that they will be able to send it by next week. funny thing is, my consultant called me about the interview while I was in the clinic talking with the doctor

i have no idea why they called us for an interview. i was hoping for it to be waived but alas still one more hurdle to get over!
