Assessment by WES - Country specific Requirement (Pakistan)

Hi all,

For degree assessment, it is written on Worl education services' site that pakistani applicant should send the copy of degree sealed by Higher Education Commission. Whereas for most of the other countries it can be sent directly by the issuing university.

Does any body know if this is the mandatory requirement? Is it possible I can also request my university to send the copy of degree directly? Any chance they would accept it?

Please share your thought.

As I understand is it true for Pakistani applicants, degree and transcript attested from HEC Islamabad in sealed envelope is required.

Fill their online application form from their web page , book appointment , and get it done - Its simple and straight - Follow what has been advised

Hello Sir, Thanks for quick response. I know it might be too easy if you are in Islamabad. But I am far away from Islamabad thats why I was asking this. But it looks like I will have to visit HEC office... and get the documents sealed.

I need to send my HEC attested degrees and transcript to WES in HEC sealed envelop. I already have my degrees attested from HEC now I am unable to figure out what to do for getting my degrees sealed in HEC envelop.
Can I put it myself in the plain envelop, sign across the seal and send it to WES, as degrees and transcripts are already verified by HEC?

Anybody from Pakistan could help.

i have my original docs attested by hec back in nov 2011...whats the procedure for attesting them again...do i need this online registration or i can simply go to them and get them attested again...

All we need to do is attest a transcript and dgree photocopy from hec in an sealed envelop..And then send it to WES..This is all they need??

I need few information from you guys.
As I got to know that WES only want photocopy of degree and transcript attested from HEC.
Do I send photocopy of both document to be attested to HEC?
Right now I have original degree and photocopy of transcript, The original transcript I submitted to University of Karachi as I am doing MCS from there in evening programme.

Do I need to request the duplicate copy of transcript for my previous degree?

Guys need your help in this regards.

no u cant.. it has to be sealed by hec.. only transcripts are required to be attested. u can ask someone in isb to do that on ur behalf.

yes thats true that WES only needs our photocopies of our degree n transcript. but the problem is that hec does not attest photocopies until u have ur original attested. even to attest photocopies they check ur original attested docs. so if u dont have ur original docs get them asap.

1) Attest from HSE (original and copies (bachelor and master degree only)
2) Send only sealed document received from HSE to WES
3) if possitive assessment then send application

For WES,

do we have to send both the bachelor's degree and master's degree or just the highest degree for evaluation.
