I removed a representative and changed mailing address online several months ago and it still has not been changed even after using online complaints and talking to call centre agents at least 3 times - typical CIC!

Just completed my flagpole this afternoon. No problems and pretty much no questions from the Canadian officer at all. I had more questions from the US customs guy wondering why I would move to Canada from Australia. He also wondered why I didn't want to go to the states today, I told him "I already had lunch". The other thing with doing the flagpole is to be wary of the US customs officer, make sure they don't 'deny' you entry to the US. They can get confused on what box to tick in the system for classing you as a flagpole. If they deny you entry, you will always have to tick the box from then on when entering the USA "Have you ever been denied entry into the USA". You don't want that, it means questions every time you cross.

The only weird thing is on my white 'Confirmation of Permanent Residency' is that it says it is only valid until December 2015. The officer assured me this is only the validity of entry period for using this form. Hopefully my PR card gives me an end date.

I'm so glad this journey is finally over. I have been living in Canada for over a year unemployed (long story), I can finally go back to work! I'm so happy this is over. Time for a beer!

Good luck everyone. This forum has been indispensable.

Hello fellow April applicants,

I just received the most wanted email of all: Ready For Visa / Prêt pour le visa ;D ;D ;D

The wait is finally over. Thank you all for your support and help through this long process and hope that every one of you will receive their expected answer.
Tomorrow I will send the passports so let's hope for a quick process and fast return.

Mihai

Hey guys, I've been super busy at work (transitioning to another company). I'll update the sheet at the end of the day. I have drafted all the updates in a separate file, so I'll dump them once I find time. Congrats to all who received PPR or have landed :)

Hi fellow applicants,

I just got an RPRF request today. ECAS status has been changed to "started processing" since last week. From what I have read on this forum, it's typically 1-2 months till PPR/"decision made" after "started processing", correct? For people who made it recently, could you share your timeline after RPRF/"started processing"?

Thanks,

Here is mine:

Application sent: April 17, 2014
Application received: April 22, 2014
AOR: May 21, 2014
Medical exam requested: November 13, 2014
Police certificate requested: November 13, 2014
Medical exam done: December 22, 2014
"Medical results have been received" on ECAS: February?, 2015
BOWP submitted online: March 31, 2015
"We started processing" on ECAS: April 30, 2015.
RPRF requested and paid: May 7, 2015
