You should renew the passport and you can have the stamping in old passport. Just you need to show both the passports. It's risk to travel with passport expiring in 1 month. Double check with airlines,as some they wont allow if passport is expirng in near term.

How many days it will take to change the VO office to New Delhi from date of request to CIC?? I heard from few ppl it will take around 25 days to change the VISA office to New delhi. But they have given only 30 days for passport submission.

Hi All, I am 23-June applicant and Received my PPR on 20-Nov. Decision made -19-Nov. I hope this long tired PR-journey comes to an end soon for everyone.

Awaiting for PPR..Just online status shows "Decision Made" . Normally PR VISA validity will be one year from Medical request date. So i assume they will provide me till Feb-16 as I did medicals in Feb-15.

Right now she is in 6.5 Months..but by the time we travel it will be 8 months..

Congrats on the ppr!! can you please let us know when you got the Medical request. As most of june applicant did medicals in Feb/Mar and no RPRF/PPR after that. Your case can bring some hope to all june applicant.

29 ppls from June are waiting for RPRF/PPR. I really appreciate if you can contact local MP and discuss about this. I am staying outside Canada so I couldn't contact MP. June applicant who are staying inside Canada should come together in this forum and take this problem to local MP to get it...

HI Tabretha, Send a remainder mail to CIC immediately and call to CIC agent and check on it. CIC will extend the days for passport submission if any request for visa stamping office change. Once they change to delhi you can go via VFS

Hi Harry , Really sorry about your situation. If you are already in Canada i will recommend to book an appointment with local MP(Member of parliament) they will get in touch with CIC and can fasten your application process. Apply for GCMS notes and see which stage your application stands.
