Medical Request: Nov. 26th 2012
Medical Done: Dec. 5th 2012

Ecase Showed MD Received: Jan. 21st 2013
Ecase Showed Decision Made: Mar. 11th 2013

Now is still waiting for PPR to arrive ...

Correct, PR card is enough. But always keep your COPR, you will probably need it when applying for citizenship.

Guys I have one question, I am going to apply under CEC with work experience from September 2010 - August 2011. I have t4 and NOA for that but as I was on open work permit, I took two jobs at that time and my NOA not only shows the skilled work experience but the non-skilled work experience (part-time) as well. Will it create any problem? Should I include the paystubs or t4 for the other work in the application? Please reply guys

I dont have a valid answer for your inquiry but I can share my experience...

I applied under CEC in late May 2012. Since I'm issued with a 3yrs PGWP I can work for any employers thus I did the same thing as you, took 2 jobs at the time. One skilled, one non-skilled part time.

When I was about to send my application package I was having the same concern but I chose to include the part-time T4...was thinking this should not be considered a negative issue since I'm not making extra burden to the Canadianm economy...might as well prove my sustainability in Canada...so I just put the part time T4 in...

Re the form side though, I didn't put any info re my part time job since the forms (might be diff from yours) I was required to complete say only "qualified" NOC/work experience should be listed...

Ah Ha ... ... finally received the letter from CPP Ottawa today ...
Though it is still not the PPR, instead it is asking us to verify family status, biodata contents, and friendly reminder of outstanding RPRF (which I already paid on Mar. 11th as soon as I saw my Ecase status changed to Decision Made) ...

I assume CPP Ottawa is now going through some changes in procedures to expedite processing the cases but mistakes (hopefully just minors) do happen ...
Anyhow, I've forwarded the RPRF receipt & hope for the PPR or just the CoPR to arrive soon ...

I am planning to land in Toronto on 1st April 2013.
So could anyone of you help in understanding as what all the queries the officer will ask at the port of entry.
Taking into consideration that i am returning to Canada after a span of 1 year and i do not have any accommodation of my own, but I do have friends. Can i specify my friends address for communication? or would the officer will ask for address proof.

Please help me by letting me know as what all could be the criteria and check list if any.

From what I've read so far ...

1. CoPR.
2. Travel Doc.
3. PR Photos.
4. Fiancial Statement (not mandatory but just in case).
5. Immigration Officer may ask you if you have any goods to follow to fill up forms for declaration purpose.
6. Passport (most importantly ;D)

I need to travel by end of next week and they have my passports since almost three weeks now.

They have mine for four weeks now and I have not gotten it back. I hope it arrives this week.
