Hi there,
I am a may applicant. I have received an email saying:

"Dear xxx:

This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose."

Can you please tell me what it means? is it a approval?? ? Do you know how long it is going to take for the next step which I think will be passport request?

Hi Jammie,
Can you tell us what document you showed as proof of funds. can we show plain printouts of bank balance or do we need statement from bank on the letter head. Can we show balance in account of spouse and also your home country bank balance (Plain Paper Printouts). Do we need 6 months statement or only balance page is sufficient?

Hi SP2013,
I had carried the latest bank statement and my T4. When asked to produce proof of funds, I handed over the entire set but the officer had a glance at my T4 and returned them back.

http://www.greyhound.ca/ I am going to Fort Erie, ON. And from there i would take cab as it is juts 5 min drive from there.

Hi Strongflag,

I have received the same email from CPP Ottawa on monday and I am totally puzzled over this. I have completed my medicals way back in October 2012 and I am still waiting for the PPR. My spouse had the medicals done from abroad and I did my medicals from within Canada.
Looks like they are going over our medicals and other security checks. Is your case similar to mine , having a spouse or a dependent abroad?
And along with the email, they have asked for the biodata as well, "eye color and height" for all the applicants.

Sorry, but I am still not clear. Have you taken printout of bank balance at your own or you carried last bank statement received from Bank. Also have you shown any bank balance of account of your spouse?

Wish u all the best for ur landing.

Pls share ur landing experince at peace bridge.

Can we rent taxi after getting down at fort erie to take u turn at peace bridge or should go by walk all the way if i am not driving.

Do we have u turn if we go by walk with out entering US.

I doubt rented taxi comes for u turn.

What is the best way to do to reduce more walking as i have kid and a stroller to handle him.

Does it usually take this long?!

From what I've seen ppls who shared in the forum usually take 2~3 days ...

Paul...Apply for GCMS/CAIPS notes if you want precise info on your application.... you shall get a reply in 2-4 weeks...

I know my Ecase is already updated "Decision Made" on Mar. 11th

Reason I asked because I plan for a back home visit and hope to receive PPR before my departure ...
Though I will continue to update my status here as well for any progress ...
