April 2012 PR applications

Hi All,

When i check my status in cic website, it is showing as "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

I am worried now. What does this mean.

Is my application rejected after medicals or is this due to some inconsistency in the cic website for the last few weeks..

how to interpret this. I did not receive an any email on this..

I did not recevie PPR after medicals were received by CIC in Dec.

Is this the status before receving a PPR. Guys who recevied PPR's, pls share ...

Pls guys plzz share if any of u any of u r in same situation.

You can e-mail to ottpilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca if your application is in CPP-O Ottawa. Make sure that you include your name, file number, date of birth and Unique Client Identifier (UCI) to identify your application. Hope that helps.

I hope this just means you are about to get the PPR. Let us hope for best. I did not hear of any one who got rejected after medical except if he has a serious medical or security issue.

But nevertheless, congratulation, I think you should be getting your PPR real soon ...


By the way, just tried to check my application status many times today and was unable to log in again ...
Hopefully we all get our PPR in coming days ...

Could anyone brief me on the landing procedure.
1) Do we need to have valid work permit, if our passport is stamped with "IM-1" i.e immigration.
2) Do we have to show proof of funds, if so what is basic criteria or amount which we have to show.

You would need following docs:

1. CoPR - mandatory
2. Passport - mandatory
3. Pay stubs - optional , good to have
4. Bank Statement - optional , good to have
5. Current Address Proof to mail the PR card - optional , good to have

Also search for landing threads in the CEC forum... there are quite a few informative ones.
