April 2012 PR applications

Hello All,

I got my PRR yesterday. My timeline is as follows :

App Filed - April 10
AOR Received - July 17th
Medicals Requested - Nov 1st.
Medicals Done - Nov 5th
PRR - 28th November.

Will send my passport to Detroit next week. As I am not currently in Canada, will wait for the visa to be stamped and shall plan my landing based on the CORP/ Visa validity.

Stangest thing is that My ECAS status is still 'In progress'.

Hi A, if u dont mind me asking, whats your location? I did my medical oct 31st but still didnt get PPR although they told me a few days ago after i emailed them that they have received my medical exam result already.

I'm not sure if you've resolved this issue, but you can always reply to the email that you received re: medical request with any follow up question or request. I emailed the VO to ask for an extension deadline to submit my PCC from Canada and the VO responded in 2 business days.

I did my medicals in Montreal. I had to leave Canada in mid November as my work permit expired and it wasn't renewed. Don't worry you will get yours soon.

Hello Nat,

After my medicals I had to leave Canada as my wp expired. Even I was given 30days time to submit my passport in the Detroit office.. spoke to my lawyer and she said I had two options, either to fly to Detroit and get a same day visa from the consulate or send my passport to her in Toronto with the photos so that she can submit it in the Canadian consulate in Detroit. Now the problem with sending the passport is that no courier companies in India will accept a passport. Luckly, one of my colleague was travelling to Toronto on Friday and agreed to take my passport ... now I will to find someone to bring it back... so you have two options... either to fly or send your passport with someone ... I know 30 days is too little, you will have to act fast..

Thanks For the reply JB... oh gosh..

I think I will better fly to Detroit if that's the case. Just waiting for my consultant to get back to me.. He stated that he has sent an email to CPP-ottawa as I applied from India. Will have to wait for there reply.

I thought the process has changed and now the visa's/COPR issued at CPP-O instead of Detroit? or this didnt kick in yet?

At what stage you got the refusal email was it before medicals or after medicals.
