It seems there is a slight misunderstanding.

I meant that we should try to find something common between the applicants who have already received visas, PPR after medicals and RPRF encashments..
Thus we would be able to identify what makes them special and the reason for their quick processing compared to ours.

Keeping that in mind we need the details of these people:

You have to go to any fingerprinting agency (there are plenty of them in GTA if you are in GTA), they will take care of everything, just bring with you your Id. Bellow is a link for an agency in downtown Toronto (With all the infos):

I've missed this forum while we were on our little adventure:

After the celebration of getting our passports back was over, to our horror, we noticed that my spouse's marital status said "single" on the COPR, even though it later alluded to me as the spouse on the same document. After a lot of deliberation we decided it was time to get it corrected. But instead of mailing back the whole shebang with a covering letter we visited the CHC in New Delhi, the hallowed grounds . Surprisingly all it took was an enquiry form, some sweet talking and voila, new COPRs with the correction and a new visa for my spouse. Extremely painless.

Take back: If you need to, go to New Delhi. They will entertain you in most cases except for the, "What happening with our application?" question. We heard (coz the lady speaks into a very loud microphone while she's addressing an applicant at her window) the lady sort out issues from passports not received in the mail to correction in the form etc.

Sad part was, you have to explain your case to the security guard (who sure as hell does not understand a word of what youre saying but still acts as the grail guardian) and his first question was, "have you been refused a visa?" which led us to think that of late, a lot of that is happening!

But, once again, congrats to all those with good news and best wishes to those waiting coz I sure as hell am not going through 100 odd pages.

Not sure about other visa offices - but CHC London, passports requests pretty much = visa. Since you can hand in the passports Thursday 2pm to 3pm and collect them (seems pretty guaranteed) 2 weeks later. And who is "Gogocanada" with London visa? Cannot see him on our spreadsheet? Search of members, looks like a Manila applicant?

Just finished that this afternoon.

It took us about 30 min (me and my wife) and $90 (for two).
They'll transfer all the files to Ottwa electronically, and it will take them no more than three weeks to do the check and then forward the results to Buffalo. Quite efficient.

I am sorry for whatever has happened to your application. I feel it was a small mistake which CIO should have asked for a clarification.
Good that you are not giving up and preparing for the re-submission. Contact your local IELTS center and ask for the actual procedure related to the copies of TRF. All the best for your application.
