If the moderator could please update my spreadsheet application status as IN PROCESS

I have added your details to the spreadsheet. Check serial # 298 and help us in completing the remaining details. Also please give us correct details .....
- You mentioned 24 Dec 2010 ....whereas your profile says 14-12-2010
- sameway 9 March for PER .... whereas in profile it shows 03-09-2011 (I know it is in MM/DD format...but all fields should be filled in the same format) ....
- You also mentioned that your file is In Process. BUT I feel that you are getting confused with the reply from your VO. Response from VO 'Your file is in process' means that they are looking into your file and it is under consideration. It doesn't as such mean that it has reached the stage of 'In Process'. Does your eCAS show In Process? That is the reason I put your application as RBVO (Received By Visa Office) in the tracker.

We will be happy if you can correct your timeline and update us with the correct details. Thank you.

Pls can someone tell me what will happen if an applicant sends in an "academic ielts" to CIO due to urgency of beating the cap pending when he takes the "General" module.

Will the whole application be returned or an NER or the applicant will be called later to send the general ielts.

Yes. Only general IELTS is accepted.

Files are returned if you get a NER via Snail mail. It will take a few months though.

well i did that last time i.e in 2010..and i got a general ielts request after about 6 months of filing my application...bt i doubt this if u have applied it after june2011.. because at that time there was a confusion as they had not updated their site regarding the ielts thing...but this time it was fairly clear..but still nothing can be said abt it ...just keep ur fingers crossed if u have already sent 1.. but would suggest u to take the general ielts as soon as possible in case they ask for it..

I started watching this forum as well NDVO spreadsheet since the day i sent My application to CIO.

What i Observed ....NDVO sent MR

In Feb to Sep Applicants

In March - Oct Applicants

In April - Nov Applicants

In May - Dec Applicants

In June - Jan Applicants

and From July it stopped (just sent 1 or 2 MR for Jan and before applicants)

In july it should be for Feb applicants or atleast atleast in August .....but we can see nothing is happening.

Well I applied Nov.2010 with academic IELTS.My file accepted later in Feb2011 they requested GT-IELTS.
May be you also will be considered

My company received an inquiry email about my roles & responsibilities & after replying to it( 3 days back), My address re-appeared on e-cas status today(But the status still shows RBVO)..... Is reappearance of address any POsitive sign. Request members to help me with the answer........

can anyone can tell me that i sent my application on july 2009 with accademic ielts.there is no reply untill now.my ecas status changed from rbvo to in process this month.when i submitted general ielts was not mandatory.from june 2010 onwards they made it mandatory...is it wil affect my application.thanks in advance..........
