After reading so many posts about the disappearing of address from the ecas, with shaking hands I also checked my ecas status and the address is gone. it was there in the morning. Fingers crossed I am sure it is for good.

A suggestion required - I had send NDVO two letters - one for my Income Tax return and another one for the error that I made in Schedule 1 form - now that the address has disappeared from the ecas should I send them Case specific enquiry or should I wait for another few days.

Kindly give your opinions

May i know when & why you send Income Tax papers to VO ? Did they asked for it ?If yes then When ? What is your e-cas ?

Hi Mayank,

When I submitted my application my Income Tax current return was not filed so I send them just in case they would ask for it. I send it in May and just a week back I have send them the Schedule 1 form because in my application i did not mention about the NER received Ecas status is RBVO since march. s

No, not yet. They said, this will be a two stage process, as its illegal in Pakistan to send Passports outside the Country. In the first stage they wanted me to send copies of passport and photographs to London, after which they would send instructions to me to send passports to Islamabad VO, for the Visas. I can only send the passports after they recieve my photocopies at London VO, and send a notification to me and Islamabad VO.

A very big thank you for everyone's advice about my baby's passport.
Miraculously, someone I did not know helped to fast tracked it.
I was able to do the passport yesterday and I will pick it up in less than 2 weeks time.
That is about 6 months saved!
I am glad having you all in this forum. You are just like my real friends and family members.
I hope you all get your PR soon.

could any of the seniors help me with a doubt please? i am from india but currently working in the middle east. the last time i visited india was feb-apr 2011. my indian pcc is dated may 2011. i am currently awaiting the 2nd file num from london. i understand the pcc is valid for only 3 months from issue date. but i have not visited india since the pcc has been issued so do you think the 3 months validity issue will hold in my case? is the 3 month rule for the current country of residence only or do i have to re-apply for indian pcc? pl let me know what you all feel. many thanks

I got my medicals done on 26th May 2011 and submitted my PP to NDVO on 20th June for Visa stamping. Does anyone have an idea, how long it normally takes for NDVO to return PP with Visa? :
