I showed a running account (business) , and they didn't checked my bank statement too, by calling bank manager.

How do you know that chc did not check your bank statement. I think they verify each and every bank statement. But in the above post you have written that they didnt check??????????

They always call bank staff, and ask them to email and fax the bank statement submitted at the time of visa. Majority of the applicants said, that the bank staff told them, that they have received a call from embassy.

I don't know how they checked my bank statement. But It was genuine, so I was not worried much about it.

Azy bhai can currrect account of our own work well?

yes it will work. If you are showing your current account and good fund in that, then you have to prove from where did you get this money? Are you running a business? if yes then why are you going abroad for studies. It diverts the mind of Visa officer. So, its Better to go for parents account.

Meemona, they never call your "BANK MANAGER" or account operating person. Agar esa hota tou statement banana bht asann hota.. Its Embassy, not a government school in Pakistan. They verify your account from state bank. Every account holder has record in state bank of Pakistan. And there are also secret, privacy branches from where they verify you account balance.

usually people show recent 6 months or 1 year statement. But 4 months statement is also okay.

I have one more question..if somebody also get admission in some other country and went there..than what is the procedure to apply??Would he apply in pakistan embassy or in the embassy of that country???

u need to apply to canadian embassy in that country....visit their website to check their specific requirements before going...so that u have all documents u need from pakistan with u when u apply from tht other country.....

It is always better to apply from home country, because if you are not the permanent resident in the other country then there are strong chances of getting visa refusal on the basis of home ties and level of the establishment................

Salam guys. Don't know if anyone of you has posted or even noticed this on the CIC website. It's very troubling, they have updated the processing time of Pakistan to 26 weeks WTH does this mean? I hope I don't have to further defer my admission
