Application Status - CHC Islamabad "Summer"

Hey friends, I got my visa today (Monday, August 27). It is 2 years multiple visa which was issued on August 24. This was my 2nd attempt as I was denied visa last year. I want to thank all my friends on this forum specially 'Evolvingfaith' (he's probably not active on this forum anymore) who guided me so perfectly to deal with canadian visa technicalities that i am through this year.

I wish all the students waiting for visa or medical call good luck and hope they get their visas in due course of time inshallah.

Usually applicants get visa one month after their medical......there are many students who have gave their medicals much earlier than you and still waiting for their visas. I would recommend you to email your university and ask them the last date you can join for fall semester. Hope you get your visa soon

Email them, you will get documents within two to three weeks...

Please HELP ME!!!

I am allowed to carry only 23kg but my luggage weight is around 35 kg, Please guys tell me what to do? I don't want to pay additionally. Do you have any idea how can I take this luggage.

My airline is emirates and air canada. They told me to charge me 180$ for additional bag of 23 kg. HELP ME, if anybody have any clue about it.

Are Emirates cool about a little bit extra luggage like PIA or are they tough? If I say I am student and make a scene will it help?

same problem lies with me. I am allowed only one bag of 23 kg and it will become atleast 33 kg.
