I think you should wait for a while. I applied on 22nd Feb online, which was too early and have not got any response till now.

Keep in mind that the summer is a busy time for visa processing so you might just want to apply by middle of May or even end of April to be on the safe side.

I keep calling vfs regarding when to apply for a visa all they say is they do not assess our file until June for fall entry.

The VACs job is not to assess your application. They just have to make sure that all the required documents are there. The embassy assesses your application. Their job is to facilitate the process. That is all. You can apply whenever you think is right. The CIC website itself says to apply as early as possible.

My bad. What I meant to say is they told me that they do not accept applications 3 months prior to the expected date of departure.
