Question for those who were requested to provide a RCMP fingerprint back ground check:

Did you have RCMP send the report directly to CIC or have RCMP send the report to yourself first for forwarding to CIC.

I ask because my partner had her fingerprints done and the Commissionaire convinced her to have RCMP report sent to her first.

What have others done?

Both options are OK, they can mail it directly to CIC, or they can mail it first to her then she mails it to the CIC by herself.
For me, I received it first then I mailed it by myself to CIC.

Hi,
May I have two federal skill worker applications at the same time (one in the PhD stream and the other one in one of the new 50 eligible occupations announced in May 1, 2014) and in both of them be the main applicant?
If yes, which application will be shown in the "check your application status online" when I enter my UCI number?
I am asking because I have applied under PhD stream category on February 2014, however my work experience is announced in the new 50 eligible occupations. I guess the processing time of the new category is faster than the PhD stream, so I want to apply under this new category as well. All of my documents are ready, just need to be sent.

Yes, you can. Aidina and Salam20 had 2 applications even in the same subcategory (PhD strea).
Both applications will appear when you check the status of your application online. I believe you'll get it much faster through the other category.

Yes it is mentioned.

I actually received them in separate emails. First the Doc request and 2 minutes later the RPRF.

I got that line with the same day I got my RPRF request...my medicals came the next day...

I sent an updated reference letter for RA and 6 months statements. I also sent another PCC though I sent it in the past cause I visited my home country recently. Few of my friends who visited the home country after sending the PCC were requested for a second PCC. So I took a step ahead and sent the second one.

Yups...I saw exactly that...and I remember not seeing it on that day itself...it came a few days later...someone told me that CIC updates that ecas page every Monday or Tuesday but I cannot be sure.

Regarding your question: Bio-data (or Biometric) pages of a passport are the first one (or two) page(s) on which your photo and basic info, such as name, passport number, etc. appear.

I checked the applciaiton number, it still says 0. when does the immigration update the number？
