1.Why Canada
2.Why the chosen school
3.Why that course
4.How it will help you advance your career here in the Philippines
4.Relate your course to your previous academic background and work experience
5.Mention who will fund your studies
6.Show strong ties with your home country (basically give a strong reason as to why you will be coming back to your home country at the end of your course).
These are the basic points that you should cover but you can of course add any that you think will help your application.
Ideally, the SOP should not exceed two pages. Aim for one and a half

Nandito ako sa St. Lukes BGC ngayon para malaman ang result ng xray ko. I had to go back kasi nagkaroon ng problem ang xray ko tapos sinabi sakin na magdala ako ng old xray films ko for comparison. Sabi ng nurse na mamaya daw malaman mga 3pm if i have to do a sputum test for 3 days tapos 2 months ang culture. Never akong nagkaTB before. This happened before too bung pumunta ako ng US. I had to do a sputum test at negative naman sya pero hindi na kelangan pa ng culture. Nakakuha din ako ng clearance from pulmonologist. Tanong ko lang sana, September 6 kasi start ng classes ko at may school orientation ako on August 30. Makakahabol pa kaya ako if ever na kelanganin akong magsputum test at hintayin ang results ng 2 months starting next week? Nakakadepress naman to.

thanks po sa reply.. i badly need a good site that would help me sa ielts academic self review.. pacensya ngayon lang ako na log in ulit.. parang mahirap yata ang " academic writing" ng ielts.. my husband advised me to enroll in a class review but i thought it is an additional expense so self review nalang ako..

Try na lang din muna Oshin's advise kasi mabigat din yung 9k for IELTS exam.
I will send you a private message for the IELTS review materials. Wag ka na mag enroll sa review center. Sayang din yung fee. Mostly for General exam yung mga nandon so mabagal yung pacing ng lessons nila kasi focus sila from pinaka basic. For me ha, sayang din sa time kasi hindi mo mafofocus agad dun sa weak point mo kasi nga madami kayo sa class.
Sa writing naman, super helpful nito talaga. You just have to be familiar with the type of questions, tapos yung pattern ng essay na hinahanap ni IELTS then practice practice practice. Time yourself tapos bawasan mo ng 5 minutes para may time allowance ka for proofreading
