I send my police certification more than 2 month ago to Ankara, and i didn't get anything from them (even an e-mail). Iam from Iran, and here each police certification expired after 2 month. so my police certification maybe expired too. Do they want police certification again?

does anyone have same experience?

Police certificate is valid for 6 months. When I requested my notes under access to information act I saw they considered my pc as a copy for some reason. But then they never asked for it again and now my file is "desicion made". I am not sure why they ask for PC so often but it depends on the officer working on your file.

Don't worry! The officers who are in Police+10 don't know the real validation date for PC! Even they don't know they rules of PC!! So it is valid for 3 or 6 months! Just we have to be patient. I know it is hard but we cannot do anything more!

It is the embassy of Canada who can tell you how long the PC is valid for not Police+10. For example Australian's embassy consider Iranian PC is valid to them for 12 months. But I would wait till they request documents before submitting any new ones.

I am sponsoring my wife. I got the GCMS notes I ordered in December 2016. Eligibility:passed, Medical:passed, Background check: In progress, Security: Blank.

I noticed something in the file that does not seem to be correct: She lived in Russia when she was an student before year-2009. Since then she has been living in Iran. The files shows her residential address as her address in Russia. Apparently it was entered in error in the file by the officer who reviewed the application. Both generic appication and shcedule A forms we submitted clearly show that she lives in Iran. Is it a big deal? Would it impact the background check process? I appreciate your thoughts and opinions

sohrab jon

only personal recommendation , always not bad to send them email and ask for clarifications in your application , as you know country of residency is one of the main causes of delays or in some cases shorter processing time , did you submit her Police clearances both For Russia and Iran ?

Sohrab jaan, it is a good idea to confirm the address but if her address is from Russia the file wouldn't be transferred to Ankara. Send them case specific enquiry and ask if the address is correct.
