I'm far away from my wife for six months and they received my application on Nov 18 but background check still is in not started status! Why the Ankara don't do their jobs faster?

i have applied for work permit visa and i got request for additional documents my consultants has sent on the same day on 21st dec till then no response from embassy

as per cic website processing time for work permit is 2 weeks but in my case its over a month now.
