Good morning .I called the embassy to check if they change to another bulding .but the Auto answering said the embassy is closed

((Our Embassy in Jordan is moving – office closure May 9-12

Feature text: The Embassy of Canada in Amman, Jordan, is moving from its present address in Shmeisani to our new building on Zahran Street.

The Embassy presently located on Abdelhameed Shoman Street in Shmeisani will be closed at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, and will reopen at 133 Zahran St (between 4th and 5th Circles) at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, May 13, 2013.

For emergency assistance, Canadians can call our Emergency Watch and Response Centre in Ottawa collect at 613-996-8885 or email us at sos@international.gc.ca.))

I hope the new location will come up with increased number of immigration officers, as it seems recently all the staff there were overwhelmed with the temp visa applications and did not do much work on the PR applications

i just have a question considering the spousal sponsorship. My husband's app reached amman on feb 28,2013. and when i checked ecas yesterday, it showed that "Medical results have been received. " under Permanent Residence Application Status. although the status is still saying Application Received.

What does it mean to have the medical results received? and isn't too early to have that line at this stage?

hi nano thats normal i have the medical line from the begining (the day i got the aproval in august) until it expire in january so that is normal
