Hi Everybody,
I am new to this forum, could anyone please help me out with my issue. my file is in CPC Ottawa for the last 2 months or so. haven't heard anything from them, i have few quick questions if anybody one could help me out please, much appreciated

my Tim-line is

Feb 2010----- filled the case for spousal/daughter sponsorship
July 2012--------- medical done and landing fee submitted
Nov 28 2012 ----- refusal ( because i spent about 18 months with my wife back home, so they thought my ties were not with Canada
April 2013 ------- appeal filled
June 2013 ------- send to full hearing ( after IAD)
Nov 2015--------- Appeal won
Dec 5th 2015------ file sent to CPC Ottawa
waiting since then ....?


1. After I won the appeal my file went to CPC Ottawa on Dec 5th ( no response after That ) ?
2. how to check my e-cas ( should i check it under my name( Sponsor) or my wife's name ?
3. how would they contact me by email to me or my wife ?
4. is there any way i can check ask them what contact information they have for me and wife?
what should i do its been 5 years living without my family .

You will soon hear from Ottawa....me and you have the same timeline and i already heard from Ottawa requesting my police record, medical, updated forms, and bio page of my passport... Once your ecas is activated then you will soon hear from them...just give the some time. You contact information the have is from your old application but if anything change you can email them and let them know... If you provide a email address on your old application they should contact you threw email... They are going to send the spouse a letter in the mail to the canada address requesting new documents.... What you can do is go and look about the medical and police record now so when they request them you will have it on hand.

how do you know when you file gets forwarded to Ottawa? my husband`s vo office is in singapore, does it get foward there first or Ottawa?

I called CBS Canadian border services and they told me about my file been forwarded to CPC Ottawa

You can call the cic call center and ask them or you can call IAD office and ask them why did they send your file after winning your appeal and they should be able to tell you.

I did my medical without the medical form from the embassy and i did not have any problem with it.... The receipt you get from the doctor you can just send that in because i think they just upload everything unto the computer... I dont know about your country but here in Jamaica the just upload my medical online and game me a medical receipt saying that i did it.... but if you want to hold on until you get the medical form then you can.

yes im still here waiting for ppr.... I send in everything they ask for now im just here waiting like everyone else... i got alot a help from reading other ppl stories and asking questions and if i know something then i would sure be happy enough to share it with others.

Hi all..can we apply for appeal without appeal letter..I don't know why Embassay delaying the appeal letter..I hv received the refusal letter on 20 January..but sponsor is not received the appeal letter till date..
And what will be the last date to apply for appeal like my refusal letter was issued on 7 January..so it will be 30 days from 7 January..or from the date sponsor received the letter..

You need to file the appeal before the 30 days are up. With the refusal letter you should have also received the forms for appeal those forms were included with my refusal letter.

Hey deep33 how are you doing today... Since you got your refusal letter already just fax or scan it and send to your spouse. Your spouse can use your letter and file for the appeal. Im sending you the link to download the appeal form to print and fill out...then your spouse can fill them out and send it in to the IAD office that would deal with the appeal case.

Your husband would have to deal with the appeal from canada because he is the one sponsoring you... In the appeal process you dont have to do anything at all. Your husband will have to deal with everything. It would be good for him to get a lawyer if he dont know what to do and the lawyer would be able to guide your husband... The only thing for you and your husband to do is start collecting alot of evidence to show that your relationship is genuine and start to go over everything about each other...You and your husband have to be on the same page.

Hi guycanadian.

I appealed in Calgary in August 2015 and got blue book last week of December 2015. I am preparing my evidences to send to IAD and request ADR. Do you know what the time line is for a full hearing? Did you try to call IAD office to know how much longer you have to wait for full hearing?

I hope you get a date for a full hearing soon.
