Thank you buy they send incomplete email. The one we shold be getting comes possibly from Rabat. With an appointment date to bring passport. There's no dates.

They don't normally make appointment dates to bring passports, they just tell you to mail it to their office, in your case, the Rabat one, together with two photographs and whatever other information they want. There should have been an address in the e-mail for you guys to mail the passport to. How incomplete was the e-mail? And was the e-mail you got titled "Ready for Visa"?

Yes titled ready for visa. No dates, no visa office reference.

Oh, wow, I had no idea they also did it like that, in a way it's kinda nice, you get your visa on the same day and you don't have to wait weeks to have your passport mailed back, hoping Canada Post doesn't throw it in the river.
Maybe his file is being transferred back to Rabat and that's why they haven't done anything yet? Hopefully you get a message in a few days telling your husband to drop his passport off at the office!

My husband got his passport request Monday night. Yay right? So we thought. My husband went to Rabat, followed all instructions in the letter but Rabat doesn't accept it. Saying his visa is in Canada. I tell my husband that Rabat is wrong. So of course our representative is out of office til Tuesday. I phone Cic, my husband or rep has to call not me. They cant send an email to Rabat. They are not allowed. Or send passport to Ottawa from Rabat which will add on what 2 or 3 weeks. Or wait for representative to come back.
Holy crap cic get your acts together. Heading to mp office right now. Let's see Andrew Scheer's assistant can actually help now. As they don't before.

From what I saw online the pr visas are sent or brought to the visa office. This is what they told my husband too. Anyhow. We will get.it figured out.

I've noticed there's usually a few mistakes here and there, which is sad, just makes people have to wait longer. Like when they put something wrong on your CoPR and expect you to send it back to get it fixed (that's supposed to take 6 months haha).

Some inept ppl for sure. More training required. A few more staff or overtime. We originally applied Sept 2014. We been married 4 yrs come January. For them to make more errors at the finish line it is worse than the 2 yr appeal wait.
For your copr to be wrong. Omg unacceptable. Sorry you had to go through that. I don't know how fast they fix our email. Or how slow.
