Finally got the medical call !!!!!!!!
Today I've received my passport (after 33 days of 1st submission) along with medical call and all my original documents in the package ...
Did the medical examination and resubmitted my passport within 4 hours!! The waiting game starts again ... :'(
VFS said, it may take one month to get the final decision!! ???

Hey there! Did you submit anything else with the passport? Did VFS wanted to see any document before they took your passport to resend it? Any extra charge taken?

I did not know we can just submit it after doing medical right away! It would be really helpful if you could help me with these informations.

Hey there I need some help with Information.

I did my medical but did not note down my application number on the medical form. Is that a problem? Also does VFS ask for any extra papers or charges extra money when one goes for resubmission of the passport? Really tensed..

So about 2 weeks after my medicals i get this email "Dear Applicant, You can now collect your processed visa application ref no. SYLH/------/0001/01 from Canada Sylhet Visa application centre...." and the tracker says "Passport delivered at Counter on 11/07/2012: Collected by In Person." So i rush to vfs and guess wat they have to say! My passport isnt here yet?! lol
Whats this new mess VFS ppl have got me into....

So i rush to vfs and guess wat they have to say! My passport isnt here yet?! lol

I have got the same email....but ain't that your old tracking id mentioned ther ??? or the new one you got after medical ??

Yeah it is the old tracking number... the new one is showing in transit to SG since 2nd July! ??? Confused!!

Ignore that email....if you track with your old tracking id now/some days later you will get something like this...."Passport delivered at Counter on **/07/2012: Collected by In Person. " but i'v collected on 14/06/2012....

My one took 10 days to reach SG after resubmitting (medical).....its been 15 days or more but still under processing......

Your processed visa application ref no. ....... has been released by the Canadian High Commission/Consulate to Dhaka Centre

I havent attended my medicals yet, so does this mean I'm rejected?

To me, my application was solid. My parents were my sponsors and I had about 55,000 CAD in my account for M.Eng (Required amount was 30), they both are in VERY good govt. service posts and their income tax statements, their bank records, even their own affidavits, from sponsoring me to sponsoring my bank account has been sent.

Im going crazy from anxiety. Sorry for the LONG message

No this doesnt mean its rejected. Processed application can mean a rejection or hopefully a medical call for u.

FRom wat u mentioned it should be a medical. i hope ur MEng is at a university, as college visas as rarely given that easy...

@akib, yes it's in University of Ottawa , and in that context, my IELTS was also pretty good... .... thanks for the vote of confidence ... when can i expect the package to reach VFS , and a call from Dhaka? and do they call the bank these days ? because the bank told me there was no inquiry and thats what makes me so afraid

and uh ... what are the things im supposed to do next? which hospital, how, what are the required fees in those process? and when i re-submit via vfs, should there be any extra fees?

Lol. Dont be so tensed! U should get a medical call about 2-4 weeks after u filed ur visa. Then u will get instructions for the medicals. Then about 2-3 weeks after medical. I did it at Wahabs center, Baridhara. They charge 4000Tk. VFS wont charge u any more for resubmition.

And for verification from the bank, i guess they will do so if they suspect any fraud. Im not too sure about it, only a Canadian high commission visa officer would know that.

Yeah u should get a call from VFS in max 3/4 days from now. U open the letter n find a decision (ie medical or refusal). U will get ur medical instructions with the call. U just call wahabs center n ask if they r open the next day. They ll tell u to come 8-12 or 2-4pm. u just go n ur medicals r done in about 20-30 minutes. N we r done!
