I am looking for the right and proper steps to privately sponsor my family member. But what I learned from the posts here is that I will have to do this through an organization. So while i am in the US will I still be able to be a sponsor? And how would I contact an organization to provide some guidance and provide some assistance and file the paperwork? Thanks in advance! Looking forward to more replies.

If you want to sponsor a family member who is a refugee, you would do that through the Group of Five sponsorship program. You cannot sponsor from the US - you would have to be living in Canada. More details below:

If you wish to have your family member sponsored by an organization instead, you will need to reach out to individual organizations in Canada to find one willing to offer support. This is research you will need to do on your own. You can find the list of organizations below that qualify.

Plz tell me that I have not refugee card which UNHCR issued to afghan citizen who live in Pakistan...

So I want to apply for canada refugee asylum

Can I apply for it without having refugee card..

You need to be recognized as a refugee by UNHCR.

You cannot apply yourself directly. You must find a sponsor.
