- For my case it took almost 6 months after medical was done at doctor's office. For better idea check the website:

Santosh yours is really fast. You should check trackitt for how long it takes. i am not an expert at this, u r further than i am so haven't experienced it to comment.

But this is good news, definitely check trackitt and see what the average time is.

Hi Sandiego,

AEO means Arranged Employment Opinion. Simply, if you have an offer of employment from some employer in Canada. In this case it is the employer who has to apply for the employee.

No this isnt scary still, I dont think they are going to do anything of the sort sometime soon.

Yes few months (around 6 months) after, the scene can change, but not very much, I hope.

Anyway, by that time, we should be through,,God willing!!

I submitted my application with AEO in late October, 2008 to Singapore but I haven't received Medical Request yet.

My application date from India was 19th Nov'08.
Documents requested on 11th Dec'08, (received by me on 12th Jan'09) and I sent the same on 12th Jan'09.

Medicals request letter dated 04th Feb'09. I received the same on 2nd March'09 (they go to my lawyer in Canada first, hence the delay)
I send my Medicals Receipts + PCCs + Funds Proof on 9th March'09.

(The doctor's staff told me that they will be sending the report on 12th March, so max. by Monday i.e. on 16th March'09, CHC will have my packet & doctor's Report both).

Now, I am waiting,,I have done my part,,the ball is in CHC's court,,

I am not sure what comments to make except congratulations. You are not far from being in Canada. This is really fast. I think the ones with AEOs are generally processed faster but didn't know it was this fast. To give an example, I started everything on Dec 10th, and my file has not started being processed at the visa office.

Congratulations! I think that you will get your passport this month because I heard from others that after medical done, they wait for from 1 to 3 months.

Please relax and think about departure to Canada!

Hi everyone,

Its been 5 months now after medicals

and 6 months after applying

and nothing realy after medicals except wait only

yeah 15 days back i think i got a call from them but my phone was busy and i was never able to contact that no as it is always saying our representaives are busy kindly hold for another one, but that is not the no. which is given by them on their site...

So i m confused now to know wheather i got a call from them or not

and then its 5 months after medicals and thats bothering me too
