Hi ! Please I need advise . I got the terrible news last week for my application from our agent. First thing first , we hire a representative to process our files . They just believe that theirs an error. No idea what's the main reason , so then my agent answered that they are contesting the decision and they will submit an administrative review? How is this? I have waited for long period and I am waiting too for the e mail for the specific refusal . However I believe in faith and praying for a positive result after administrative review. Secondly, all the process were smoothly done . I greatly appreciate your advise and anyone with the same experience?

It's really impossible for any of us to comment without knowing the details of your work permit application and the detailed reasons why you were refused. Normally administrative reviews have a low chance of succeeding. But again, impossible to comment without more info.

I'm really sorry, I have applied for live in caregiver, yes indeed your right.however I communicated to my employer their they said I don't have enough experience of what the agent told them which is impossible I have met all the requirements. Hope to receive the specific reason from them for a chance . I did ask any documents needed so I can absolutely provide. Thank you so much . I will update the soonest if I receive news from them. I was thinking that they will just fix some error of my files to be reviewed.

Do you have at least one year of full time and paid work experience as a live in caregiver in the last thee year? What evidence did you submit with your application to prove you have is experience? It was your responsibility to submit is documentation along with your application. If you failed to do this, then it's not surprising your application was refused.

Yes , it was indeed. Beforehand I had make sure that I won't fall with the refusal category , before I started my application I have my eligibility , qualification and experience passed. Also as we hired a third party to represent us we can't do anything . They just told us that the request will be listen. Can you please elaborate about this administrative review? Thank you so much .. . I hope that they have fix their mess on my files , the reason we had agent and a lawyer as a repress fatigue is to make sure 100% perfect for our files. However we are very positive for the positive result of the action done. How long will this case resolve? Much appreciated for your advise. Thank you

Administrative review is when you ask CIC to review the decision on the file. It's up to CIC whether they decide to take another look at your case or not. They might agree - or they may just tell your representative the decision has been made and you have to reapply.

Timelines are individual to cases. So it's impossible to say how long it will take.

Sorry to hear about that. You do what you need to do, there's no harm in trying for reconsideration.

But just so not to get your hopes too high, I will share my sister's experience. She applied for LCP twice was denied incorrectly. The first, cic says that she did not declare her previous immigration application which in fact was declared. She wrote them a letter explaining and asked for reconsideration, but they told them decisions been made and she just needs to reapply. Come second application, denied again saying that she do not have a minimum experience required for the LCP which irrelevant since she was applying on the basis of caregiver education and was stated in the application. Again same response from cic. The third time however she got approved.

Different applications yield different results, just don't give up. Regards.

Another thing id like to add, we requested for caips note so we know exactly what's the reason of denial. We tried to cover each possible reason other than what they mentioned in the rejection letter. They may have some doubts to genuineness which will be in the notes and worth knowing. This way you can add explanation to help your application. Godspeed.
