Hi Seniors,

I have a query with respect to the Score calculator on this site.

The issue is the CLB-IELTS conversion.

I got 8.5 in Listening in IELTS, the CLB is 10. But the calculator option is either CLB9 or CLB10+ (No CLB 10).
Which one to select.
With CLB9 selection (Listening) I get a score of 399
With CLB10+ selection (Listening) I get a score of 402

Please clarify and if possible provide any official link (CIC) for calculating score.

I got a score of 414 as per CIC.

I look forward to apply for Ontario PNP. Please review following points and correct me if I am wrong and share your viewpoints:
1. The PT NOI will start after June 2016
2. The EE profile needs to be created after June 2016
3. Any idea by which month (Aug-Sept) does the (2700 slots) PT NOI's got finished last time in 2015.
4. Some people say Ontario invitation preference is offered to certain NOC categories. Any idea which NOC's.
5. Any other PNP EE program which accepts candidates with 400 & above score.

Since I await my M.com 2nd year marksheet from University which will be received in May-Jun'16 and thereafter Transcript, Provisional Passing certificate & WES evaluation will take another 1-2 months. So probably I will be applying by (Aug-Sept.) in NOC 1112 category. Hopefully the cap doesn't fill up by that time.

1. The PT NOI will start after June 2016 - There has been only a temporary hiatus from OINP on sending out PT NOI. There is no official confirmation on the sam about the dates. You can check OINP updates here http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html. May I ask where did you get the information that OINP PT NOI will start after June 2016?
2. The EE profile needs to be created after June 2016 - If you have ECA and IELTS ready, you can create and submit your Express Entry profile now.
3. Any idea by which month (Aug-Sept) does the (2700 slots) PT NOI's got finished last time in 2015. - I am not sure about the same.

Any idea which NOC's. - Personally, I have not come across such comments, those are just speculations, there have been no official confirmation on the same. As far as I understand OINP, to get an invite the only thing that matter is your CRS score, it should be 400+.

Since there have not been any updates for OINP PT NOI's after Mid-Feb, so probably they will restart the program in June 2016 cos last year it started after June 2015 and only considered profiles created after June 2015. So I assume same trend. As it has been halted but again as you said there have not been any official update, so we can only speculate.
