Hello to all. I'm joining in also.

In CIC website it says CAP reached for RN's (3152) already. We've decided to move to Canada but we are not in a hurry, in fact we are still in the "gathering of all our documents" stage.

My question is, if I submit our application any within the next 1-3 months, even though the CAP has been reached, will I still be qualified or accepted for the next batch or next year when the CAP is cleared? I'm not sure if I sound right, but hoping anyone got what I meant.

Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated.

@talk2melas. Thanks for the tip. we'll just wait then until June next year to submit our application. For the meantime as part of our preparation we'll just keep all doc's ready. Good speed to all those who have submitted already. Indeed let's not always forget to lift everything in prayer. God bless all.

zero chance for 3152 august applicants

received an email today

I would like to inform you that we have received 1 returned application package last Wednesday, October 20, 2011 from the Paranaque Postal Service. This application is for our client, a Registered Nurse, filed under the Ministerial Instructions 3 and sent via DHL last July 15, 2011 which was received last July 20, 2011 by the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) Nova Scotia, Canada as per report by DHL – courier company.

The application form that was returned together with the documents submitted was stamped received by the FSW Mailroom CIC Sydney, July 20, 2011 however attached to it is the letter addressed to the client dated 26 September 2011 informing that “her application was received after the maximum of 500 complete Federal Skilled Worker applications per NOC 3152 was reached”.

The posting on the www.cic.gc.ca website regarding the applications received toward the overall cap as of September 19, 2011 for NOC 3152 is 499 applications received. However please take note that below the numbers posted on their website it mentioned that “figures are meant as a guide only and there is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap”.

If we will follow the above letter of the CIO and their guidelines, would mean that as of July 15, 2011 the visa office received a total of 500 applications already despite their first posting dated July 21, 2011 that NOC 3152 received was 26 applications only. And with this, the said client application was returned for reason of cap reached.

As of this date based on the reports previously sent regarding the applications given the assessment (whether eligible or non-eligible) by CIO the latest case submitted with decision was filed July 12, 2011 therefore for July 15 filed case the above client is our first case opened and returned due to cap reached.

From July 01 to September 30, our office was able to file a total of 477 applications for NOC 3152 – Registered Nurse. From July 01 – 14, our total filed cases (NOC 3152) were 107 applications while from July 15 to September 30 we have a total of 370 applications subject for return and may not be included in the quota of 500 applications.

As of now, this information is not yet a matter of menace because of this 1 case. Situation may change and we will have clear understanding on how CIO assess our clients under the NOC 3152 once we have further updates from the Centralized Intake Office (CIO), Nova Scotia.

cap reached before july 20 .
im very low in moral now. i want to kill somebody. :(

then why should they received applications beyond July 20 if that's the case?August is one month and yet they keep on receiving apps for the whole month yet cap was reached by the date stated..we're not sure how many apps sent to them the whole August so it's very unethical on CIC's part to keep on accepting apps which are beyond the date the cap had reached..Does it make sense?

I read from the 1122 thread that CIO, Novo Scotia still "accepts" applications past the date of cap reached is because they cannot refuse the courier and have the package returned right then and there at the door step. Not 100% sure, though. That's why when you check your package using the tracking number of your courier it shows that it has been received by someone. Maybe it would be more reliable to check on your credit card if it has been charged or your bank draft getting encashed.

Wishing everyone good news. :)

Hi guys..

Maybe you can apply on the practical nurse category..if you will read the job description, its just the same with our work here in the Philippines...at least you did the other route instead of waiting for another year..anyway just my 2 cents =)..

Hope it helps..

It will not be applicable. You can only be eligible to apply as an LPN if and only that you were able to take and passed the exam for this kind of profession. So this would only apply to those people who have work abroad like in US that are already Registered LPN. Besides, we don't have this kind of exam here. So we have to go out of the country just to take the test.

So the latest bet that we can do is to wait for next year!

Congrats pala! Godbless! :D

Hello Dears, I think they are planning to implement new immigration rules. Today they removed the "cap reached" red colored text from the list of 1122 and 3152 category. Some news available in the "RCI viva" link in the CIC home page and check the news with a title "ottawa ready with new immigration rule". I have tried to paste the link here; but not allowing.
