do you really think we stand a chance ? 150 cap is confirmed from my agent.

150 is total cap ie for all occupations.

my application will be going tomorrow.But probability is very very low.I feel i have wasted my money as I have paid 45 k to agent.

Hey bro, i would suggest don't loose hopes, I strongly feel that this is not first come first serve basis. If it was FCFS, the cap would have reached by 7th march itself .

They are going to accept applications till 1 month ie. approx 10-15th april and then give AORs to best 150 out of submitted applications. So take a chance , you never know if your consultant has put genuine efforts to make your file strong , you may get lucky to get selected.

don't panic, if that is guaranteed service 99% it will reach by promised time, this is what they said to me.

DHL is having a system maintenance at the moment. My shipment still no update since Mar16 (location Bahrain)

I called DHL CS and they told me that my shipment is currently in Germany

Hope it will reach Halifax this week.

same here i called up DHL to check, they said the updates are wrong in tracking system, mine is showing in slovakia but its in onatario service area.

I shipped on 13th march

Once you will get the Provincial Certificate then you don't have to worry about.

Most of the people will get the PR once they get the PNP Certificate.

CIC only need PCC, Medical only.

i have questian about the FUNDS

i have already sent to them the bank statment plus the ownership of property with a value of 100000$
but my concern not about NSPNP

iam asking about CIC does they will accept the property as a proof of fund
iam asking that because i want to use my money in my bank account and i am a fraid that if i get AOR from nspnp

I understand my agent may had put genuine efforts .but he faulted at two places.he did'nt file my application early though my documents were ready.he said he is studying occupation and related proofs.second thing i had to tell him about 150 cap after reading this blog which he confirmed with nova scotia.
Also i think Nova scotia should have clearly mentioned 150 cap on theire website instead of telling when calling them.
whats the point of such expanded job list when there is such a small cap.are they going to nominate 3-4 people for each occupation????

Things are little bit blur in terms of Proof of funds

looking at the link it states that you can show property as proof of funds.

Even I submitted bank account statements and property sale agreement as proof of fund.
Though I had more than minimum required amount in my accounts(spouse and me included) the property value reassures that you can anytime sell the property to settle in Nova scotia.

But the problem is whether they consider sale agreement as proof or they specifically require notarized valuation from lawyer ??

I can completely empathize with you and your situation. I have one question to ask . how did you conclude that their is really a cap of 150, did you personally call and ask NS immigration ? If yes, what exact conversation you had with the person on the call ?

If no, then assume that you have equal chance as everyone, as there is no official declaration anywhere.
Also even if there is a cap of 150, most likely its not First come first serve. As it is very unlikely that first 150 people will be eligible(i mean who proved convincingly by there settlement plans that they will settle in NS only). So I would suggest don't be disheartened.

Anyway, I have been in Canada long back but just recently applied PR but they change the policy frequently.

FSW is also coming in May.

@sjulien I think is high time u stop bugging people with 150cap stories you are sending discouraging signals. As long as NSNP has not declared publicly that they have 150 slots apart from your so called enquiry.
SINP States outrightly that they have a cap for no job offer category and those who applied knew ahead but in this case no such update officially and since we have nothing to loose except for courier let's do it in peace cap or not.
