Just wondering , for the upfront medical exam people, do we still see MER on CIC cease?

and how long does it take,usually,on average to see MER after exam?

Hey Guys,

I was just going through some of the other threads on PGP for 2014, 2015 sponsorship applications. I am loosing every bit of hope for this as looks like we are probably left behind. Not to say that none of us hasn't received anything, but why is taking so long Dont know ?? I have sent an additional request for IMM 1344 in Febrauary and it will be almost 3 months now.........nothing yet from CIC. Also went to see my MP a couple of weeks ago, got the same generic reply from CIC """" file is in process, there is no delay for this time slot available...."""" God knows whats up, but looks like we are moving way slower than 2014, 2015 applicants whose files are already transferred to visa offices. Agreed that many of us already received approvals, I am probably one of the unlucky ones !??

Does it add to already prolonged delay for file processing, if i decide to move (address change) . I guess not, but still wanna make sure. Last time when I moved I had already informed them, everything was up to date. ( but also had to send IMM 1344 in Jan 2016 after additional documents acknowledgement received ). I am afraid if I move now, they might ask for the same form again???? ANy one had similar experience, i would highly appreciate that..

I feel that applicants who have submitted their Additional documentation around Sep to Dec 2015 time frame and it was determined that their application is complete in all respect, their application would be processed after processing 2014, 2015 application (that are complete in all respect); But before processing 2016 compete.
Reason: this is what it says on my second AOR
Your application was received on Nov 25th 2015 and we have determine that your application is complete. Your application is now in the processing queue and will be processed based on the date that the complete application was received.

Address changes do not slow the processing of your application.

In fact people who move and don't update their address often end up missing correspondence and that causes delays.

Thanks a lot SoonIhope, I will make sure everything is updated on the records right from the get go. But that means there is no harm in changing the address while I have sponsorship approval yet to come....( which hopefully would come at some time )......

No harm at all. Also if you have provided email all sponsorship letters from Mississauga are being sent by email. Actually having the correct email on file is more important.

I also talked to my MP about the status of the application about sponsorship. I got generic reply from them about file is being processed. I definitely feel that they are processing 2014 , 2015 files before 2011 batch. This is complete unfair. They cant do that. I was going through the threads 2014 , 2015 and IT IS VERY UNFAIR OF CIC TO APPROVE 2014 ,2015 APPLICATION BEFORE 2011. I am gonna fight back with my MP for the same.

Congrats. Very likely that your case will be finalized this year itself.
Mostly takes only 4-6 months after medicals for majority of cases to get passport request.

It's been a long wait to Get Approval Letter. When I check on CIC, it shows Application in process (Processing start Date March 08, 2016) Does anyone know of wait times for Approval letter then What's the Wait time after Medical? During this time can I bring my mom on SuperVisa to Canada?

I have almost same timeine like your...cic started processing in January....end of march i got email my file has pending review by officer......still did not hear anything...i dont know...what does it mean.... in process ......cic agent says cant do anything until month of August...MP 's office answers still with normal processing..........helpless like others..Pray to God..reunite to our family members.its really hard to wait ....
