Congrats Cgill. I think in the sponsorship letter they mention that you start applying for PCC. I would suggest you get it done as PCC is valid for 6 months. As soon as you get the PCC you can send it to your LVO. Cheers, Moongs

Well ideally yes but not always. My parents have been asked for FBI clerqnce though they have never stayed in US for 6 month at a stretch or combined. I guess it depends on the officer. They have visited US quite a few times though for a few days.

You can scan and share in email. Just to be safe, i would send an email as well. In the pcc request email, did they ask specifically mention the countries for which they need PCC? If possble can u share the email post removing the uid's and stuff? You can even share it as a pm. Moongs

Since my parents are here with me in Toronto, we went to fingerprint live scan place in toronto. You can google and check for livescan places. They charge arnd $35 and print it on fbi approved form. You need not write the sin as they are not residents yet. Cheers
