Dont know in which pattern they are doing files as sometime updates come for september applicant and then back May or June and sometime to December also..It seems like a lucky draw.. :P

it means you will not receive any mail from CIC, everything will be updated in your online account only i.e if medical request or additional document is needed they will update the same in account or request for passport also will be updated in account. No email communication after linking your...

As after few days of receiving your AOR 1 you can check your status in eCAS. With AOR 1 you will get application number and you can login using anyone last name and DOB sponsor & applicant.
