Yes. In April 2014 received a letter about names spelling, sent it back...no move since then. In July my file was still in Sydney according to CIC person over the phone.

Did the same mistake...so far looks like CIC do match them (man, women and child, quite straight) as all docs in process now and only letter I got was for spelling issue...

It's could be any other request, not the RQ I got same note and received a letter about my name to be used. In my case I had a truncated patronymic name in PR card first letter of it was used as middle name (as it not used in Canada). Tried to exclude it from my name for citizenship...so CIC...
