Hello, I submitted my walkin application at BLS Surrey last week of November and now if shows as "Processing at consulate general" if I check status on BLS. If I lookup on OCI website it still shows UNDER PROCESS. Date of Acknowledgement: 1 December 2023 Anyone else in same boat as me?

Mine was received on 19th. Nothing yet. I called them last week and they gave me a temp file number but thats about it. I cant do anything with the temp file number. Waiting for AOR.

I was in similar situation. I had my oath on 4th of this month and my flight is on 17th. I applied for the passport this morning, paid extra 50 dollars for rush service and they said ill have it on 11th December. You could do the same I guess. Good Luck

Guys, may be someone can answer my question as well. I had the oath yesterday and they asked us to wait 2 business days for passport. I saw online and ecas now says Complete. The last line is you became a citizen on December 4,2018. Does that mean tomorrow I can go and apply for a passport? Thanks

Dont you have to wait till you are done with oath ceremony for the passport? I have never seen anyone able to apply a passport after test itself.:oops:

If you went to US, the best bet is to get your entry records from USA. I dont think my CBSA report showed exit dates as they dont scan our passport or do anything when we leave Canada.

Hey, I was in the same boat as you. I had extensive US travels too and for me to get an oath invitation, it took them 20 days after I saw decision made in ECAS. Dont worry, it will be good news if your exit/entries in your physical calculator were true.
