    Received P.R Cards

We have exactly the same problem. Landed on March, 25 and no cards yet. There is some phone number that can be reached only within Canada, but we had to leave and asked to send them to our friends. Please post what was the reason of the delay after you call the help line.

Age limit for live in caregivers

I was thinking that it is not a question of discrimination, but maybe the work permit can be issued only for people who are less than some predefined age (say, 65 for women). Do you know about such limitations?

No PR cards more than 30 days after landing

Thank you so much! I will try to call them. We didn't give any fotos during the landing process. Maybe this is the problem? The last time we give the fotos was when I submitted our application at the Consulate in my home country.

No PR cards more than 30 days after landing

I see your situation. But they should inform my friends that something is going wrong, or I am supposed to call? I have heard that many people land and go home to finish their home duties and their relatives or friends get the cards. I am really confused now.

Age limit for live in caregivers

Do you know about any age limit for live in caregivers? Say, the woman 65 years old - will she be able to be approved? After 2 years - could she apply for PR? I cannot find any information saying no on the CIC site, but I would like to hear from experts. Thanks!!!

Can a live in caregiver be my relative?

Thank you so much! Could I understand from your answer that the problem is that the letter of experience is written by a relative, or you think that in any case the letter of experience (from a private person or an agency) should be accompanied by pay stubs or tax documents?

Can a live in caregiver be my relative?

Thank you so much! No, she never was in Canada. All her experience was in the past, before I left, in our home country. I never wanted to bring her illegally, and cause her problems. My big worry is that she didn't work at they agency and the letter of her experience is in fact the letter from...

Dear members, I am in Canada as a PR. My job requires to leave home frequently, sometimes for a couple of days. I have 2 kids - 10 and 3. My aunt took care of my kids since their first birthday. I want to have her as a live in caregiver in Canada. I cannot find a better person, the language is...
