Congrats to you. I hope it doesn't take too long to get to you. I find this puzzling because I am a July 13th applicant and when we called last week the agent wouldn't give any information.

Some might give you a different opinion but I ccan only speak to what I did. Each form of application package has its own checklist, therefore honor that. You never know if they would forward one application to a separate building or something. So my advise would be to prepare documents for each.

I would give it a ssecond because like I said, we only got eentered a couple weeks ago.

When did you send your application? We applied in July and only got entered into ecas last month.

They send correspondence via snail mail so it is very normal. It will just appear out of nowhere. I find it baffling that they gave you this information about it being mailed out. When my husband and I called we were told that they can only give updates after November 13th which is exactly four...

Thanks for this information. Looking forward to this date at least puts me at ease for a while. I applied in July and confirmed they received it July 13th. Hopefully the person you spoke to is correct. The house is a real pain and stress.

My advice is just to wait on their email. Mine took more than the ten days. The email told me exactly what information to put in each field to make it successful. Trust me it is worth the wait.

This question is for anyone. We submitted our application and confirmed that it was received on July 13th. My husband thinks he deleted the Aor email. Should we call Cic about the email or is it not important. Also, still haven't received my open work permit as yet.

I wrote to them and ten days later theysent me specific instructions as to how to go about linking the accounts.

Thanks for the response but that wasn't actually what I was asking. Just to expand, does CIC send you a request for you to submit your passport and put the permit in it or do they just mail the permit to you?
