Canadian citizens have rights, one of them it is freedom...including moving. CIC's problem was in regard with getting the citizenship on false declarations, not what people are doing after getting citizenship.

You sent the transcript and it might not show completion of the program, just the exam results. CIC doens't know if you passed all required exames for diploma. Just the send the copy of diploma toghether with a copy of the transcript and should be ok.

Hi everyone, My mother just received the request for PPT. Applied in July 2008, file moved to Ottawa in March 2012. The medicals done in April 2012. After 9 months Ottawa sent a request for more medical tests. Done the tests in April 2013. Finally the visa is going to be valid until April 2014...

Don't get paranoid:) My mother did her medicals in April 2012. Last Friday she got a letter asking for more medical checks. The letter is dated June 29th 2012 but was sent from Ottawa on January 25th 2013. The 90 days term it is long overdue.

Same for my mother. I think our parents are from countries with small quota. Maybe the LVO already used it to clear their backlog. I can't see any other reason why people with medicals done in August... are getting the visa ahead of the ones with earlier medicals.

The e-cas still says "application received" and the date when was received. No other indications about medicals or in progress.

He should declare at the entrance about starting the inland application. Nobody will send him back. He will get a different entrance stamp , or notes which will help getting the health coverage immediately. At least this the rule in Alberta about health coverage for a spouse who's not yet...

Just to give an update. Landed 21st April Edmonton, the PR card was mailed June 4th. It looks like it takes 6.5 weeks to be made and maybe 1 week more for delivery. Total time right now 7.5 weeks.

I don't know if you're still looking for recognition of the driving insurance. Anyhow , I got like 50% reduction in alberta for having such a leeter from my home insurance company. Check with Morgex.
