Repost from August 2012 post I am a bit confused and curious.... They requested a COPY of my Passport and 4 passport sized photos, does that mean those photos are for my PR card? I sent them off, what is the next thing that will happen and the time frame?

I just go to Costco! They are cheap and stamp them. its 4 Passport sized photos!

Yeah I validated them. And they said validated on the sheets. I am not too worried, I think the bar code is to make the officers job easier, they may have to put us in manually, thats all! ;)

My bar codes never printed, the pages came out with out them. I had a person who helps with immigration say it should be ok with out them. maybe it just processes faster? and maybe that was the update from Feb to July due to too many barcode errors?

it was on page A-3 of the Country Specific Instructions (USA) I don't see it being a problem but no way to tell, cant get through on a call and wouldnt get any info anyway, no UCI# GRRRRRR!

I just realized I didn't send the sheet of paper specifying the VO at all. it is sitting in my file folder.... is that an issue? I know I mentioned I didn't know my VO but I am afraid not having this paper will get it sent back. I hope that is not the case :(
