bill c-6 - when is going to be approved?

So I calculated I am eligible to apply for citizenship this week under the 4/6 rule, however I am still wary about the 'intent to reside' clause and was thinking of applying after the new legislation came into effect. Nevertheless don't want to wait too long if processing times will increase as...

    Spousal sponsorship

Just a quick question, my wife just sent me the signed IMM 1344 from India by courier, however since then unfortunately I found that I need to make a small correction in one of the fields. Would it okay if revalidated the form but used the old signature page along with the new barcode and pages 1-6?

    Spousal sponsorship

I filed my 2015 taxes only last week, and it appears that my notice of assessment will not be available to view until April 18th. But I can see the Option C printout for 2015 strangely enough; is that good enough, or does CIC need the NOA only now? I know that they were asking for Option C until...

    Spousal sponsorship

On the checklist for the sponsor it mentions the notice of assessment for the 'most recent taxation year'. I have not yet filed my taxes for 2015, so would it be allright if used the NOA for 2014?

Hello, I have a question in relation to this. I think it doesn't show up until they start processing your application, right now they are processing only applications received before April 20th. This date has been moving really slowly lately, like 2-3 days every week.

    PR Card Renewal - 2015 - Timeline

Yes, the receipt number on the $50 renewal fee. Saw it first last week, didn't use receipt to check before that so might have show up before that. Received by CIC on April 13th, was approved on June 18th. I was out of Canada for about 2 out of the past 5 years.

Travel on day of PR card expiring

I didn't realize it when I booked my tickets but it turns out my PR is card is expiring on the day that I am flying back to Canada. I have applied for a renewal but I most likely will not get it in time for my trip. Would I have any issues if I arrived back in Canada the day my PR card is...

ONLY - Who submitted CIC-AINP(SRS-U.S. Visa Holder Category) application

So I guess one should land in one's province to be safe. But it seems that after one become's a Permanent Resident, the person has rights are guaranteed by the Constitution......or the charter; namely to settle wherever one chooses. So I guess it mostly comes down to ethics; if you choose to...
