    What is AOR letter?

Mississauga (at least for sponsorship applications) do not send out any AOR. Once you submit your application to them, it's either you would get the whole package back (if it was lacking or something) or you would get a decision from them.

is it better to marry in Canada or in the Philippines?

I think it depends on where most of your family are - I would guess you want them to be part of this event. For me, I went back to the Philippines to get married, my wife's application has been approved and she will be going here before Christmas

I think they will only have priority processing for those affected - I guess they'll base their decision on who was affected or not from the address of your spouse/partner. Good luck in your application!

SPONSORING HUSBAND IN PHILIPPINES (LOTS OF QUESTIONS!)

Hi, Well, in theory they should update the website to "Decision Made" for your husband's PR application. I know they keep this up to date for the sponsorship part, but not sure about the PR part. My wif'es application has been in process for 3 months and counting... and still waiting. As for...

    1. How long does it take to process my husband PR Visa? Manila processing time is between 4-8 months 2. Given it has been approved or anything, what would be the update that we can see in CIC? Is it "Decision made" or other? I won't expect any more updates in the CIC website until they make...

Letter recieved from CIC-MANILA redo medical

if you have some time, I say go ahead and take a new NBI clearance... but as far as I know, having the medical redone is important because it has to be good until you land in Canada - more senior members of the forum can clarify this.

How long they keep the passport - Manila Office

regarding doing the medicals - you really need to do your medical before the application is submitted if you are applying through the Family Class - specifically, Spouse/Partner stream... so if you submitted your application directly to Manila, I am guessing you were not sponsored by your Spouse
