    "Decision Made" without police certificate?

Thanks. Also, I did some more research, and when I applied the guide for "In-Canada Spouse/Common-Law Partner Class" said for my country that I was not to submit a police check upfront. I know this topic is still debated, but I spoke to people from the same country who applied under the same...

turquoise, do you mind if I ask you what reason they gave for your refusal? Was it an inland or outland app? And did he have an interview before the refusal? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks

    "Decision Made" without police certificate?

Hi. Yes this is a common-law partner application. I did the medical before I sent the application (as close as possible because it's only valid a year).

    "Decision Made" without police certificate?

Thank you! Funny you should say that, someone else in another thread just said the same thing. That they don't typically refuse inland apps without an interview to give you the chance to clarify any issues/questions.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2010

tozo, thanks a lot - that makes a great deal of sense. It wouldn't make sense to refuse inland applications without giving an opportunity to clarify any questions/issues, if there is no right to appeal.

    "Decision Made" without police certificate?

Thank you! Me too! Why did you ask about an interview? Does that indicate something?

    "Decision Made" without police certificate?

I haven't ordered any notes yet. The letter they sent out will be here in a couple of days anyway. I did call CIC a while back and asked if they'd need a new police certificate, as I had one when I first entered Canada on a work permit, and haven't been anywhere since then. The agent said she...

My ecas was updated yesterday to the following: We received your application for permanent residence on November 16, 2010. We started processing your application on December 29, 2010. Medical results have been received. A decision has been made and you will be contacted. We sent you...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2010

Thanks again. I don't want to question what you say - because it sounds like great news! I would like to know though, how we can tell from the messages in ecas whether it is just AIP, or PR approval, or a refusal etc. To the unwise among us they all surely look the same in ecas? For instance...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2010

Thanks tozo, I am curious, how do you know this from the text I posted? I haven't received any letters yet, and I haven't been asked for a police check from my home country (the application stated NOT to submit one with the application for my country).
