Thank you. That was a pretty informative post. Quick question: Are co-op committal programs? Most people will continue to apply for jobs in their fields even while being in a co-op program. What if they get a job offer? Can they quit the program (immediately?) and proceed to the new job?

Tarakvshah, I got my meds done 2 days b4 u did...so kinda parallel there... Not sure why your kid's passport was returned - DO check with NDVO...even if it is a mistake, it can induce unnecessary delays in your travel plans... Pradeeshma, We all are waiting for you to give the good news :)

MuhammadFahad, had you provided a police clearance earlier when you applied? I wonder why would they ask again if you had already provided it. Also, what would be a 'settlement plan'?

Hi Pradeeshma, I had called up VFS and I was told that the visa takes 5 working days from the date they receive the medical results. Secondly, I am not sure how will e-medical accelerate the process coz they still courier the blood and urine test reports - only the opthalmic, general & x-ray...

Congrats rp_tp. Not sure if many people got the MR for PR from ND. I got my MR for the WP though. Hopefully, they will consider the same medical results for the PR as well and thus, reduce that one step from the PR process.

Hi rp_tp, Your AOR would be around the corner. My application reached CIO in Jan first week and I got my AOR last week. Typically, they send out the AORs on Thursdays. Check your mails the first thing this Friday morning and you might get the pleasant surprise :)

Also, NDVO continues to be a mystery! For PNP, so many of them got AOR - NO medicals yet. Many applied for OWP - NO update yet.
